At Wander Beyond Brewing we pride ourselves on aiming to create innovative and flavourful beers to the highest industry standards. For example Bloom, our Imperial Black Milkshake IPA with strawberries and chocolate pushes the boundaries of what a Black IPA can be.
We are a close knit brewery team, and as such you must be able to work well within the team and be able to independently complete your own tasks, whilst being willing to assist others in theirs. It is essential that you are of a tidy nature, with a good eye for detail and a proactive frame of mind. You must have the appropriate attitude and show pride in your work ensuring that each task is completed in full and to the highest standards expected. An appreciation and desire to be involved in an innovative beer scene is highly encouraged, alongside a passion and enthusiasm for our brand and it’s ethos.
Duties and responsibilities will include:

Liaising with our customers in a professional and timely manner via email, phone, occasionally via face to face and social media

Good internal communication with all production, warehouse, dray, accounts and design departments

Building professional relationships with current and new customers

Completing appropriate and legal documents such as EMCS declarations
-
Ensuring that our payment terms are adhered to by all customers in the appropriate time frames
-
Guarantee all available stock has the correct amount of corresponding pump clips on site
-
Keep track of empty cask stock and enable effective empty cask collection

Maintaining the complete tidiness and cleanliness of your work and communal areas
Organising and coordinating:
-
Export sales
-
European sales
-
UK pallet sales
-
Special events such as tap takeovers, meet the brewers and beer festivals
-
Local area sales
-
Online shop sales
-
Collection sales
-
Stock management and allocation
-
Collection, delivery and shipment of sales
Further Duties and responsibilities may include:

Representing the brewery at events
-
Assisting with any ad-hoc project work required
Alongside the requirements mentioned above please see the desired skills, experiences and traits below:

Minimum of two years’ experience working in a sales position, preferably in a brewery or other food and drink sector

To be proficient in processing export and european orders and in completing all the appropriate documentation required (for example the EMCS form)

To be familiar with using brewery sales software such as Viewplan or BrewMan
-
To be of a highly organised nature and to be able to manage numerous orders and communications with customers of differing nature simultaneously
-
Experience of processing and arranging shipments/ deliveries for sales

A proactive approach to your duties, enquiring into and implementing improvements for the business

Flexibility to fulfil a variety of other roles which may be required of you
Non essential but advantageous skills, experiences and traits:
-
To be proficient in the use of QuickBooks accounting software
-
Any other accounting experience

IBD fundamental Certificate in brewing, Brewing MSc, Food Science, Engineering or any Science/ Business based BSc or equivalent

A clean and valid driving license
-
Experience of driving a fork truck
